The themes of nature, travel, and history are often interconnected in my art, as well as our world. I strive to capture, and share, a fleeting moment or a detail that is often overlooked, but one that is personally inspirational.
I work in a variety of media and frequently combine techniques and media employing textures, light and color to convey my impression of a subject matter, place, culture or moment. I appreciate exploring materials, methods and ideas, while staying true to them, as they guide me to a finished piece of art expressing and sharing my interpretation.
Aligned Exhibits was founded to help dispel the idea that we are ‘starving artists’ and need a handout. Artists are skilled professionals adding personality to your business environment and value to our community.
